It’s been said that Lake Clark National Park embodies everything that makes Alaska spectacular – forests, glaciers, mountains, wildlife, lakes, rivers, history, great fishing, views beyond compare and…lots and lots of bears!  Boaters on the lake often spot mama bears with cubs strolling along the shore.  In the subdued and understated colors of dawn, the beauty and solitude of Lake Clark is captured in a serene landscape of lake, trees, wildflowers, and snow capped peaks against a peach colored sky.  A few added stitches in warm brown hint at the presence of a bear family on the distant shore.
