But, by 1849, ‘Gold Fever” was in full swing and the California Gold Rush was on! Thousands of prospectors flooded into the state to find their fortunes in gold.
Using simple colorwork, this design takes you to the heart of Gold Country from the gravel of the river bottom to the blue sky above foothills and tall pine trees. Look at all the gold in that river! With or without the optional gold, the nature inspired colors and classic shapes depict a scene reminiscent of many a mountain adventure.
