Trees…as far as the eye can see!

From the Ozark Mountains to the Coastal Plains, almost 60% of Arkansas is considered forestland.  With over 180 different types of trees (a mix of evergreen and deciduous) the color of the landscape changes seasonally from bright or deep greens to a kaleidoscope of vibrant oranges, yellows, and reds.  Viewing the beautiful landscape from one of many lookout towers is a popular tourist attraction, especially from 216 ft. tall Hot Springs Mountain Tower in Hot Springs National Park.

This design features subtle easy-to-knit texture in 3 shades of green reminiscent of a tree-covered landscape in spring or summer.

As an alternative, use shades of oranges, reds, or yellows for a fall landscape.
