It’s no surprise that Alaska is one of the snowiest of all 50 states.  With 1/3 of the state above the Arctic Circle, dozens of mountain peaks over 10,000 feet, and winters with very little sunlight…you’re going to have a lot of snow! In much of the state, snow stays on the ground for 6 months or more, while in the highest peaks, it never leaves. Living with so much snow has its challenges, but it sure is beautiful! Whether it’s blanketing the landscape, turning trees into frozen sculptures, or gently floating to the ground, there’s nothing quite like the beauty and artistry of an individual snowflake that makes it all seem magical!

A hint of sparkle, stylized snowflakes, and a fun-to-knit texture that resembles tiny snowflakes create a design that captures the chill and beauty of snow in a warm and cozy hat.  A fold-over ribbing adds extra warmth.
